The participants will achieve the following learning outcomes:

- Describe how a community of practice can be established and methods for its sustainability
- Identify an existing community of practice and create an analysis of it
- Review participatory appraisal methods and reflect on how this can be used in a community of practice
- Review participatory appraisal methods and reflect on how this can be used to engage young people
- Gather resources that can be used by others to support the development of a community of practice
- Reflect upon what has been learnt about a community of practice within a personal context
- Describe the purpose of an action learning set within the context of continuing professional development
- Compare and contrast the three basic conventions or ground rules used for action learning sets in a professional environment
- Describe the key roles needed to ensure a successful and productive action learning set
- Define the difference between co-design and co-production within a professional IAG environment
- Demonstrate how the co-production model and the six principles of coproduction can be used to develop practice or a service
